Kwekwe United Coach Beknown Mhlaingena was happy with the performance of the squad. he stated that winning is paramount in the development of the squad, but there is a need for consistency.

“…winning always goes on with a feeling of happiness. We did not have much on the side of individual outstanding players, but I cannot close the chapter without mentioning our goal-minder (Elton Nechiware). He made some effective serves for the day.

“We did not want to give them too much space and room for their talent exploitation. we tried to keep them monitored.

“The overall development of Kwekwe United as a team is now our major priority as of now and consistency in winning matches goes well in developmental progress,” said Mhlaingena.

David Temwanjira was pleased with his performance, and he hopes to keep the fine form that he is currently in at the moment.

“It is good to be scoring as a striker because that is my duty. Football has ups and downs, but the most important thing is remaining focused even when you are down. I am happy now at a club where I am rediscovering my scoring touch once again. I am pushing myself hard so that I continue scoring until the end of the season,” said Temwanjira.
